Why Arabic SEO is different
Arabic SEO is not translation. Arabic words have many forms and spelling variants (ة and ه, ى and ي, أ and ا), and Gulf dialect terms often differ from Modern Standard Arabic. A customer may search 'تكييف', 'مكيفات' or 'فني تكييف الكويت', and each can show different results. Some users also type Arabizi, Arabic written in Latin letters.
English, Arabic, or both?
For most Kuwaiti businesses the answer is both. English searches often lead in B2B, technology and expat-focused services, while Arabic searches lead in many consumer categories. Arabic results are also frequently less competitive, which means well-built Arabic pages can rank faster. We measure demand in both languages before recommending a content plan.

Frequently asked questions
Should Arabic pages be in a subfolder or a separate domain?
For most businesses a subfolder such as /ar/ is best because it shares the authority of the main domain and is easier to manage.
Can I use Google Translate for my Arabic website?
We do not recommend it. Machine translation misses local search terms and reads unnaturally, which hurts rankings and conversions.
Do Arabic keywords have less competition in Kuwait?
Often yes. Many categories have weak Arabic content, which creates a real opportunity to rank faster.
