Arabic keyword research needs more care than English because of dialects, spelling variants and mixed-language searching. Here is a practical process.
1. Start with how customers speak
Talk to your sales and customer service team. Write down the exact words customers use on calls and WhatsApp, including Kuwaiti dialect terms.
2. Expand spelling variants
Check variations such as ة and ه, ى and ي, and أ, إ and ا. Also check singular and plural forms and common misspellings.
3. Include Arabizi and English terms
Some users search in Latin letters or mix Arabic with English brand names. Include these where search data shows demand.
4. Classify intent
Separate informational queries (كيف، ما هو) from commercial (أفضل، سعر، مقارنة) and transactional queries (شراء، حجز، رقم، قريب مني).
5. Validate with real data
Keyword tools often undercount Arabic searches in Kuwait. Validate with Google Search Console, Google Ads keyword data and by reviewing actual results on google.com.kw.
6. Map keywords to pages
Assign one primary keyword group to each Arabic page, and link it to its English equivalent with hreflang.
