When someone in Kuwait searches for “pharmacy near me” or “salon in Jabriya”, Google shows a map with three businesses. Being one of those three can transform a local business. This guide explains how to get there.
1. Claim and verify your Google Business Profile
Your profile is the most important local ranking asset. Make sure it is verified, uses your real business name without extra keywords, and has the most specific primary category available.
2. Complete every field in both languages
Add services, products, attributes, opening hours including Ramadan hours, photos and a detailed description. Kuwaiti customers respond well to profiles that feel local and bilingual.
3. Build a review engine
Ask every satisfied customer for a review. The easiest method in Kuwait is a short WhatsApp message with a direct review link sent right after the service. Reply to every review, positive or negative.
4. Keep your NAP consistent
Your business name, address and phone number must match exactly across your website, Google, Apple Maps, Instagram, Facebook and directories.
5. Create genuinely useful area pages
If you serve several areas, create a page for each with local details, directions, nearby landmarks and relevant services. Avoid duplicated text with only the area name swapped.
6. Add LocalBusiness schema
Structured data connects your website to your map listing. Include your address, opening hours, service area and links to your official profiles.
